What are anti-wrinkle injections?
Anti-wrinkle injections temporarily relaxes the treated muscles resulting in smoother skin, reducing the appearance of wrinkles as well as preventing further lines from developing and becoming static.
Are anti-wrinkle injections safe?
Anti-wrinkle treatments take little time to administer and there is no down time, allowing you to go about the rest of your day immediately following treatment.
Effects will start to become visible 4-14 days after treatment and results can last between 3 to 4 months. The effects will then gradually wear off.
Botulinum toxin type A is only used in very minute amounts and is a safe and very effective way of keeping those wrinkles at bay.
How Does Anti-wrinkle treatment Work?
Once injected into a specific muscle, it works by preventing the muscle from contracting. This in turn prevents the formation of the dynamic wrinkle. Once treated the skin will look smoother and less wrinkled.
From 4-14 days after treatment you will begin to notice the anti-wrinkle injections taking effect. If required a top up can be arranged at two weeks after at no additional cost.

Who should not have Anti wrinkle injections?
- Women who are pregnant or breastfeeding.
- People with muscle problems or chronic diseases affecting the muscles, such as Myasthenia Gravis, Eaton Lambert syndrome.
- People with infection at the proposed injection site.
- People who have previously had an allergic reaction to Botulinum toxin type A injections.
- Children under the age of 18 year.
How is anti wrinkle treatment administered?
It is injected using very fine needles so there is no scarring and you can resume your usual activities immediately after treatment.
